My approach to therapy is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice, informed by the awareness that overlapping systems of oppression harm our psyches, our communities, and the Earth. I find that IFS (Internal Family Systems, also known as ‘parts work’) is a helpful tool for the people I serve, as well as Hakomi (a type of somatic therapy) and EFT (Emotionally-Focused Therapy) for couples. My approach is also psychodynamic and attachment-based, given that I take care to understand your early childhood relationships. I welcomed my first child in 2022 and since then have received additional training in perinatal psychology in order to support perinatal populations.

Whether you’re new to therapy or a long-term therapy client, I see myself as a co-collaborator in your healing process. My goal is to focus on your relationship with you: how do you speak to yourself? How do you tend to your spirit, body and mind? The questions I ask are meant to stir wise parts of you that are in the shadows. I believe everyone has an inner healer who can be brought to light.
